Australia Flag
The Australian flag history is full of variations. There is not any drop of freedom fighters on the Australian flag history but it is altered many times. At the time of Australia independence, on 1901, the flag of Australia was flown first time. The last changes occurred in the Australia national flag was on 22nd May 1909. The flag which was adopted as the Australian national flag in 1901 was approximately same as the current flag but its background was Red. For so many years, almost for 50 years, the flag was same from 1909 to 1954. But on 14th April 1954 a new variation came in color of the Australia’s flag. The royal blue color was introduced as a background of the Australia flag instead of Red background. The reason behind the changing of background color of the Australian flag was that most of the people thought that the Red color is depicting the communism in the country. So after 1954 the blue ensign color Australia flag become the Australia national flag. Union Jack exists on most of the previous Australian flags. Two countries have seven pointed stars on its flag, one is Australia’s flag and the other is Jordan flag.
This question, who designed the Australian flag, can not be answered because the answer not contains the name of one person. A competition was held after the government of commonwealth. In that competition five designs were selected the best designs by five different people. Each designer won the 40 pounds. The names of the designers were: Ivor Evans, Leslie John Hawkins, Annie Dorrington, Egbert John Nuttall and William Stevens. So after the compitition, the designs of all five designers of flag Australia were combined and then approved on 1902 as the Australia national flag by king Edward 8.

We can’t say that the current Australian flag was invented by a particular person. Before the Australia independence in 1823 to 1824 the national colonial flag was made. Later on in 1831 the federation flag become the Australia national flag for a very long time. It was made by the John Nicholson. After the federation flag many other flags came so we can’t identify the specific inventor of the flag Australia.
The Australian flag is based on three portions. In first portion, the upper left corner of the flag contains Union Jack. The second portion, bottom left corner of the flag contains federation star. The third portion, the full right side of the flag contains the Southern Cross. The Australia’s flag has a union jack, with red and white color. Just under the union jack there is big star with seven corners and white color. At the right portion of the flag, there are four relatively small stars with seven corners and there is a smallest star with five corners of white color.
