Czech Flag
The history of the Czech flag is not very old; it has roots only in the 19th century. Before the independence of Czech, the Slovakia and the Czech was one country, and they had one flag of Czechoslovakia. That Czechoslovakian flag was same as the current flag of Czech. Before the separation of these two states, Czech and Slovakia, a resolution was passed by the government of Czechoslovakia. The resolution was that none of the two states, Czech and the Slovakia, can adopt the flag of Czechoslovakia flag as the official flag of their countries. So after the separation of Czechoslovakia, Slovakia designed a flag as an official flag of Slovakia for their country. Their flag contained red, white and blue color with coat of arms shield at the upper left side of the flag. While the Czech totally denied the resolution passed by the Czechoslovakia and gone against the resolution of Czechoslovakia. Therefore, they adopted the old flag of Czechoslovakia. The Slovakia became very peeved because of this act of Czech but the individuals of Czech said that “this rule doesn’t subsist any more, because the country that made that rule doesn’t exist now”. So they adopted that former flag of Czechoslovakia. The actual flag of Czechoslovakia adopted on 30th march 1920. Before the independence of Czech the Czech Republic national flag was adopted on 17th December 1992.
