The history of Georgia state flag is very recent dates back in at the start of the 21st century. Georgia became the state of United States of America on 2nd June 1788. The description of the Georgia flag is simple. The flag of Georgia is made in the proportion of 2:3. There are three horizontal strips on the flag of Georgia. All the three strips are of equal size. The top most and the lower most strips of the flag of Georgia are of scarlet red color. While the central strip of the flag is of white color.
