Georgia Flag

The history of Georgia state flag is very recent dates back in at the start of the 21st century. Georgia became the state of United States of America on 2nd June 1788. The top most and the lower most strips of the flag of Georgia are of scarlet red color. While the central strip of the flag is of white color. There is a blue color square at the upper left corner of the flag of Georgia. Within the blue square state coat of arms is drawn, that is surrounded by the 13 five-pointed stars. The state coat of arms comprises of an arch and three pillars under the arch. The word “Constitution” is engraved on the arch. A banner containing the official motto of the Georgia state that is: moderation, wisdom and justice are wrapped around the pillars of the coat of arms. A man is standing in front of the arch which is prepared to secure the constitution’s principle. The wording “In God we Trust” is written under the arms.

The meaning of the Georgia flag is simple. The thirteen five pointed stars of white color surrounds the seal of state depict that Georgia is one of the original 13 colonies of the united states of America. The three branches of the ruling parties that is; judiciary, legislatives and executive are depicted by the coat of arm’s three pillars. The signing of the statement of sovereignty is depicted by the 1776 date.
