Germany Flag
The history of the German flag is very old regarding the first adoption of the flag of Germany. The flag of Germany had not experienced variations and the German flag design was not changed in the history but was abolished and approved three times in the history of the German flag. In 1848 the flag of Germany was adopted at the very first time but was soon abolished after 4 years in 1852. Later on, after so many years approximately after half century on 11th august 1919, the flag Germany was adopted again and at that time it was known as the Republic of Weimar's flag. But the 1919 adoption was also not sustained for a long time and the German flag was abolished again on 12th March 1933. At that time the Weimar's Flag was substituted with the Third Reich flag. All these re-adoptions occurred because of lack of sustained government in the Germany.
The flag of Germany was also in use by the East Germany or the Democratic Republic of Germany until 1959. The flag Germany was approved by the coat of arms from 1959 to 1989. After the end of Second World War the Germany split into two parts (East Germany and West Germany) and both used different flags. The Germany united again on 3rd October 1990, and then the current flag of the Germany was selected as the national flag of Germany. Now the flag that is used as the national flag of Germany was actually approved on 9th May 1949. In the era of 1935-1945, the German flag comprises of red background upon which a white color circle was drawn and on the circle the swastika of black color was drawn. In the era of 1959-1989, when the Germany was split into two parts, the old East Flag of Germany hold the emblem of communists on the flag. German flag had experienced many mishaps because of wars on the land of Germany. In different times different worriers had made the Germany a battlefield that left bad effects on the country.
