The National Flag of Hungary was officially adopted finally on the 1st of October in 1957. However, it is also seen through history that the flag was first used in the year 1848 and 1849 with an uprising. The official representation of the Country Hungary was done by this flag as the National Flag of Hungary only after the Austro-Hungarian Empire collapsed and that happened in the year 1918. This monogram appeared in the center of the flag well until the year 1945.
