Myanmar Flag

On January the 3rd in the year 1974 Burma became known as the Burmese federation. First it was known as simply Burma then after that date, it was known as the Burmese federation. It was after that the state changed its name and from Burmese federation and became Myanmar. It was on that same date that they adopted the official flag of Myanmar which was also on January 3rd again in the same year 1974. The state as mentioned before changed its name but Myanmar did the adoption of this design as the official design for its country representation when it gained its final independence in the year 1948 and the date was 4th January. Originally Myanmar flag that is also known as Burma flag never changed only the name was changed twice, but the design of the national flag always remained the same except for a small alteration in the past. The national flag design was originally chosen had a complete red base, and which a blue square situated on its red base with a star which was surrounded by five smaller stars all in a circle. That was replaced and the current design having another emblem was placed in the blue square that was situated on the red base.

Describing the current flag of Myanmar is not a difficult thing to do, as it is also a very simple flag like many of the flags of the countries of the worlds. The designing and the colors of this flag are easy to explain as they hold a well distributed design and colors. Those colors are red and blue. It is comprised of a red base a fully red base and a blue square is situated in the right top corner and an emblem is also present in that square which consist of a cog wheel, with a paddy ear which is more commonly known as the ears of the rice, to be more simple and is surrounded by a 14 points or 14 branch star.

The meaning of each and every color in the flag of Myanmar Burma is very simple and ancient as well. The blue colored square or simply the use of blue color in the flag is there to represent peace and endurance. The red color is used to represent courage of the people and the army. White color is used to specifically represent the purity and honor of the people and is therefore used in the stars and the emblem. The cog wheel and the rice ears together placed on the emblem are used to specifically denote or represent the union between the workers and the peasant class people. The 14 starts that are placed above the 14 cogs of the wheel are there to represent the 14 states that combine to form the Union of Myanmar. The flags all described dimensions are in the form of the following ratio that is 2:3 in total and respectively to the color separations. An interesting factor to keep in mind here is that, in history since the adoption of the flag of Myanmar the name is changed twice but the design is never changed.
