New Jersey Flag
New Jersey is the state that joined the union of United States of America at the very start and helped the America to become a union of different states. The New Jersey joined the union at the 3rd number and given a new power to the America’s union. On 18th December 1787 is the date when the New Jersey was emerged as a part of the United States of America. New Jersey is the state that is counted in the 13 original states of the America with the help of which America became a union of many states. The history of the New Jersey flag that was adopted originally for representing the New Jersey is based seven years back to the state hood recognition. The New Jersey state flag was adopted formally for the state use in the year 1780. The flag of New Jersey was approved by the officials of state in 1896. During the American civil revolution the war offices of the continental line ordered the regiments of the New Jersey to bring the flag for representing the state having buff color background. The flag that is currently in use by the state of New Jersey was actually embraced on 26th march 1928. The other name by which New Jersey is known is the Garden state.

The description of the Flag of New Jersey is very unique and is very interesting as well as very beautiful. The proportions used for the National State Flag of New jersey is 2:4. If anybody ask as what the colors of the flag of New Jersey are; the answer would be a very simple one and that would be three colors. While the background of the flag, as compare to the other flags of the American states, is totally different and very eye catching color that is buff color. The state flag feature the coat of arms and its monogram is emblazoned in the middle of the New Jersey flags. The shield is one that contains a picture and three plows are made on it and those are with the picture of a horse's head which is placed above it. There is also a writing on that ribbon and the writing is the state motto; reads the words Liberty and Prosperity. The overall design of this flag is rectangular and the monogram in the middle is one that looks very pretty and looks more like the painting on a wall. The buff color of the flag background is inspired from the uniform of the New Jersey soldiers who fought in the American revolution was continental line, that color was designated by the general George Washington in the year 1779.
