Peru Flag

The official Peruvian flag was finally adopted on 25th of February in 1825, making it one of the world's oldest flags. The Peruvian flag is a symbol that used since the time that Peru gained its final independence from the Spain. Peru fought the battle of Independence with the Spain and won its freedom and announced its independence on 28th of July in 1821 and the flag having stripes (of red and white color) diagonally divided the flag into three sections was adopted.
