Utah Flag
Utah flag history began when Mormons develop Utah and was made a territory, in 1847. Seeing as time, one symbol “beehive” has been used there among others in 1848 they founded a state named "Desert" (meaning honeybee). Emerging on both the state flag and seal was the Mormon's emblem, in 1849; the area was declared a Territory with the new name of Utah. In 1851 the territory, underneath Desert name, implored for entrance in the union. They would not ban polygamy, and were bowed down by Congress. In 1896 Utah was acknowledged as a State. In 1851 Utah State flag was used generally; at any rate. In 1903, the Utah’s flag displayed in rebellion by State Society of Utah Daughters to Governor Heber M. Wells, it was made-up of silk, and Agnes Teudt Fernelius was the one who made Utah’s state flag, showed the Utah State Seal. USSDR every member had contributed one dollar to give for the flag. In October 1903, an error portrayed on the flag was determined which had been made in the State Seal and it was also determined that Utah’s State flag hadn’t been accepted as an official state flag by the Governor but rather would serve as the Governor's regimental flag. An official flag would have to obey with an act of the state legislature and thereby be accepted by the state legislature. Utah flag took to USSDR artist H.L.A. Culmer for made some corrections in state seal. A new flag was born because of this attempt and presented to the Governor and displayed the flag on each imperative occasion where the Governor's flag may be required, both at the World's Fair in St. Louis in celebration of the Louisiana obtain and somewhere else throughout incumbency. Until 1913 State flag of Utah was used.

In 1912, Utah Pioneers commissioned Sons and Daughters presented a State Utah flag for the Utah battleship which exhibited the Utah State Seal centered on a blue backdrop and looped by a slim gold line. In 1913 State Utah flag became the official flag as we know it at present the legislature approved it and Governor William Spry signed the House Joint Resolution. Like numerous other state flags, there is blue background of Utah state flag and seal of the state is drawn at the center of the flag of Utah. The State Utah flag is a flag of blue field, tasseled with gold edges. An American eagle with outspread wings above the shield. The top of the shield stabbed with six arrows placed diagonally and under the arrows over the shield the word "industry," is present. Beneath the word "Industry", a beehive is drawn. On the hub of the shield on each side of the beehive, rising sego lilies and near the base lower the beehive of the shield, the word "Utah," is written. And below the word "Utah" the figures "1847" is present with the outside of being back of the shield two American flags on flagstaffs located crosswise with the flags so swathed that projected away from each side of the shield. The heads of the pole is emerging in face of the eagle's wings and the base of each staff coming out on face of the draped flag with the blue field, the whole design is covered by slender gold circle.
